Instead of Discrimination against Muslims, craft a voluntary pledge for
the transfer of firearms.
So that all firearms should be transferred only with the following
voluntarily required pledge by the gun transferor:
Something like this:
"Individual freedom is the law and taking individual freedom is against
the law. The right of an individual's body and personal property is
inviolate. I will not use this weapon to steal or assault or victimize
any innocent. I will use this weapon only in self-defense, sport or
when called to war or public turmoil. With or without this weapon, I
will seek to protect other's lives, and I will not endanger other's
lives. Even in self-defense I will attempt to resolve any situation
without killing. I will treat my current countrymen and women with
respect and honor and expect the same. I will uphold the holy honor of
an American. Of free people, inclusive of all creeds and races, united
freely in trust of God in advocation of the enrichment, further freedom,
and future life of humankind. I pledge [or affirm] allegiance to my
allies, who are those people who mean no sin against me, but hold the
Spirit of Truth towards me above all things, and in our union form this
holy country. I will put my Holy Self, Holy God, and his Spirits of
Truth, Love and Freedom first, other people second, America third, and
all other organizations, allegiances or ideologies fourth and
subsequently. I am not in league with ISIL, ISIS or any organizations
working against the American people. I hereby make this solemn vow [or
truthful statement], and I will require this pledge [or statement] upon
transfer of this weapon or use of it by anyone."
400 approximate syllables vs. 45-50 in pledge = 10x longer than pledge
Also, if you don't like oath's, as Jesus said "do not take oaths, but
let your yes be yes, and your no no,"* you might make them state:
"without binding myself, I do make this following truthful statement in
this moment:" *Matt 5:33-37, James 5:12 - although the pledge of
allegiance is also apparently an oath.
True religions are paths to peace. It is only valid to use violence to
resist violence. Victimization of others' bodies and properties is
violence. Jesus "did not come to destroy men's lives, but to save
them," (Luke 9:56), and "did not come to call the righteous, but
sinners, to repentance" (Luke 5:32).
Muslims also are bound by the words of Jesus:
"The Messiah, Jesus, the son of Mary, was but a messenger of Allah and
His word which He directed to Mary and a soul [created at a command]
from Him. So believe in Allah and His messengers [prophets]." 4:171,

Read the New Testament. The Gospels are less than 70 pages long. The
rest of the New Testament is less than 80 pages long. 150 pages total
compared to the over 500 pages of the Old Testament. Study the Bible
like a textbook, highlight or underline the parts you like, this is true
Bible study.
My sympathies go out to the LGBT community. Stand with LIBERTAS,
VERITAS, and CARITAS, against all forms of oppression, victimization,
and lawlessness everywhere. This includes against Gun Owners and Muslims!
It should also be noted, that without guns, massacrists could just run
people down with their cars. If there is somehow a difference in the
mentality with this, then perhaps the above pledge should solve the problem!
i.e. if people don't commit massacres with their cars, maybe people
wouldn't commit massacres with guns if they took the above pledge!
So don't start committing massacres with your cars and starting a new
trend, and don't ban the guns. Banning guns is prejudice. Do you fear
your young son will stab your young daughter with a steak knife at
dinnertime? Then why fear the gun? The only real argument against
guns, is they are better offensive weapons, and thereby harder to resist
- except with a gun. If but one person in that nightclub had had a gun,
perhaps many lives might have been saved.
